Webedia France : 25 million Internet users each month for the Webedia Group

Within the new nomenclature measured by Médiamétrie/Netratings dedicated to video content publishers, the Webedia Group posted very strong scores, particularly in the young and under 50 age groups.

The Webedia Group – the leading French group dedicated to online entertainment with 29 million unique visitors to its sites in France* – has announced that it is joining the Internet Video Measure produced by Médiamétrie/NetRatings. This measure is enriched with a new nomenclature dedicated to content publishers, taking the content issuer as the key to entry and freeing itself from the broadcasting site and the player used (proprietary player, Dailymotion or YouTube) for the month of October 2021, published today.

AN ULTRA-POWERFUL MULTI-PLATFORM OFFERING ON COMMERCIAL TARGETS

Since 2015, the Webedia Group has built up a multi-platform video offering, with :

  • the development of video content and audiences on its own sites (AlloCiné, Jeuxvideo.com, 750g, Purepeople, Puremédias, Purecharts, easyVoyage…), with the use of the Dailymotion player on a growing number of them;
  • support for top creators on YouTube, in the production and monetisation of their videos.

For the first time, Médiamétrie/NetRatings can deduplicate the power of this multi-platform offer, with 24.8 million unique video users in October 2021.

A particularly powerful score on targets, with :

  • 6.3 million unique video users aged 15-24
  • 10.7 million unique video users aged 25-49
  • 7.6 million unique video users in the CSP+ age group

The Webedia Group’s strongest media brands include AlloCiné (5.7 million unique video users), Jeuxvideo.com (3.4 million), 750g (2.5 million), Purecharts (745,000), Puremédias (726,000) and easyVoyage (578,000).
