The WEBEDIA group, an international leader in digital media (AlloCiné, Xataka, The Boxoffice Company, Gamestar, TudoGostoso…), content production, and distribution (ELEPHANT, IDZ…), announces the appointment of Christian Bombrun as Managing Director.
Christian Bombrun has held numerous positions in the fields of content and digital services. He has previously worked as Marketing and Business Development Director at CANAL+, and as Deputy General Manager of M6 WEB.
As Director of Products and Services at ORANGE France, and Director of ORANGE Content, he managed pay TV, VoD/SVoD, gaming and music offerings, IoT, and headed OCS and ORANGE Studio.
In his latest role as CEO of Digital Services at the South African MTN Group, the leading telecom operator in Africa, he developed content, education, health, and security offerings across MTN’s 16 markets, launched a content production division and a streaming platform.
At the helm of WEBEDIA, he will oversee the deployment of the group’s assets, long-term profitability, and the continued integration of activities with ELEPHANT, relying on the experienced teams of the group in France and internationally.
Christian Bombrun will take up his position in March 2025.
