October 2, 2026 -

The Webedia-Elephant group announces the appointment of Justine Planchon to the position of Deputy CEO, in charge of Production, Creators and Content Strategy, and member of the Executive Committee, effective Monday, October 12, 2026.

Reporting to CEO Christian Bombrun and Vice President in charge of Content Emmanuel Chain, she will be responsible for all production, creator, and influence labels in France, as well as their creative development and editorial strategy. She will work closely with Executive Committee member Pauline Butor, Deputy Managing Director in charge of Creation and Development, who has also been heading French activities related to Creators and Influence since last June.

This appointment marks a new stage in the Group’s transformation over recent months into a production & technology company, based on a unique model of convergent production at the intersection of new screens, platforms, talent, and financing models.

Justine Planchon’s mission will be to support Webedia-Elephant producers and the Creators & Influence team in developing their activities with broadcasters, streaming and social platforms, and brands. The objective is the emergence of new projects, IPs, and faces across all their areas (fiction, cinema, documentaries, unscripted, etc.) and the implementation of cross-platform synergies. To achieve this, she will draw on the support of all the Group’s expertise and creators: social media, influence, digital publishing, and the WBX advertising network.

Productions from the Webedia-Elephant group’s labels notably include Sept à Huit and Sept à Huit Life on TF1, Les Rencontres du Papotin on France 2, Le Monde de Jamy on France 5, Invitation au voyage and Voyage en cuisine on Arte, numerous fiction titles such as La Stagiaire on France 3, Dear You on Prime Video, Soeurs et demie on France 2, as well as many documentaries (Le Bus on Netflix, Les ingénieurs du futur on Prime Video, Santé mentale, briser le tabou on M6, Dans la peau d’un mascu and TikTok, influence mortelle on FranceTV Slash, etc.), and feature films (Les Caprices de l’Enfant Roi, Police Flash 80, Avignon, Deviens Génial…).

On the creator side, the group supports major talent in France—such as Joyca, Just Riadh, Kameto, Nico Là, Byilhan, Shayvise, Helydia, and Batzair—through audiovisual and live event productions, as well as brand content operations.

“I am very happy to join a group whose vitality symbolizes the transformation of our sector—a key market player that embodies the marriage of media, entertainment, influence, and digital communities, with a unique ability to turn passions into content and experiences…”  Justine Planchon

“We are delighted to welcome Justine to the Webedia-Elephant group. Justine is an outstanding professional with extensive experience, recognized throughout the industry. Her taste for innovation, her creativity, and her ability to forge strong relationships – with broadcasters and talent alike – are remarkable assets to accelerate our transformation and the convergence between the worlds of television, influence, and digital.”  Christian Bombrun and Emmanuel Chain
