AFTER SHOW : WEBEDIA-ELEPHANT UNVEILS ITS LATEST INNOVATIONS

May 29, 2026 -

During its “After Show,” which gathered over 800 professionals this morning at the Théâtre Marigny, the group unveiled the first concrete achievements of its “convergent production” strategy. These major innovations and launches illustrate its ambition to fully integrate production, media, and the creator economy, driven by technological expertise and a unique relationship with brands.

During the event, the Webedia-Elephant group officially announced its transformation into an integrated “Production & Technology Company”. This move breaks down the traditional silos separating high-end audiovisual storytelling, the dynamic creator economy, and the reach of digital media. This strategic pivot addresses today’s core challenge: recapturing audience attention in a heavily fragmented landscape where mobile is now the dominant format for video consumption.

From the living room TV to the smartphone, the group is committed to delivering the same rigorous narrative standards across all platforms through “convergent production.” This approach enables major stories, intellectual properties, and partner brands to resonate across countless touchpoints—ranging from short-form social videos to high-impact primetime documentaries—turning quickly scrolled content into memorable storytelling.

Leveraging a global digital footprint unmatched in the production industry (380 million unique monthly visitors worldwide, Comscore, December 2025), Webedia-Elephant is now combining its premium production capabilities with the seasoned expertise of a new generation of creator-entrepreneurs. The goal is to generate more cross-screen hits, accelerate the creative process, and craft the stories that will shape tomorrow’s culture.

STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP WITH GOOGLE: A MAJOR TECHNOLOGICAL LEAP INTO AGENTIC AI

Webedia-Elephant is accelerating the comprehensive transformation of its operations through AI and data. Centered on creativity, productivity, and rapid adoption, the newly announced partnership with Google positions the group as one of the world’s first production companies to leverage the new Gemini 3.5 and Gemini Omni models. The latter is a groundbreaking model capable of seamless, multimodal content generation from any source, significantly enhancing audiovisual production and content creation.

More broadly, the group is ushering in the era of Agentic AI by deploying the Gemini Enterprise solution across all its divisions (production, publishing, advertising, etc.) and global territories. Effective immediately, this integration facilitates faster development and task automation, empowering teams to focus on high-value creative work.

LAUNCH OF A FIRST-OF-ITS-KIND “AI CREATIVE STUDIO”

The group is proud to announce the June 2026 launch of an unprecedented AI Creative Studio. Operating under the banner “Human After All” (HAA), the studio is designed to champion human creativity by elevating it beyond mere technological tools.

Aimed at creators, producers, brands, and group partners, this unique hub is built upon three core pillars:

  • Privileged access to cutting-edge technologies from three world-leading partners: Google, Luma AI, and ElevenLabs. The studio’s toolkit will provide tangible support for scriptwriting, brainstorming, high-fidelity image generation, and audio/video quality enhancement.
  • A dedicated physical space: The studio will feature a fully equipped, state-of-the-art facility, complete with dedicated workspaces and filming areas.
  • The “Creator Program”: A comprehensive support and training initiative focused on AI-assisted production technologies, open to producers, creators, and brands.

“SHORTCUT”: A PIONEERING UNIT DEDICATED TO VERTICAL FICTION

Drawing on its deep understanding of new consumption habits and in response to the proliferation of platforms broadcasting vertical formats on mobile, Webedia-Elephant announces the launch of “Shortcut” — a new cross-label unit dedicated to the production of vertical fiction in 9:16 format.

The first project from this unit is the series Le Magasin, produced by Elephant International for France.TV, with two exclusive preview episodes presented at the event.

Made up of 23 episodes of approximately 2 minutes 30 seconds each and led by young actors Zoé Pinelli and Siméon Ruff, this genre-defying series is set in the audiovisual “store” of a production company, where content creators come to pick up their filming equipment. Each episode features creators playing themselves – including LeBouseuh, Just1 Bisou, Tatiana, Enjoy Phoenix and even Samuel Etienne.

LAUNCH OF TWO NEW 360° MEDIA BRANDS

To anchor itself at the heart of emerging cultures and engage highly targeted audiences, Webedia-Elephant is expanding its media portfolio by launching two new brands, managed as “360° IPs” across websites, social media, video, and events.

Ode: Born from the rebranding of Purepeople (8 million unique monthly visitors and over 5 million social media followers), Ode is positioned as a premium lifestyle brand at the intersection of glamour and celebrity culture, maintaining a respectful approach to privacy. Its fresh content lineup on YouTube and social media will feature familiar faces such as Alix Grousset and Karima Charni.

Volum : A new premium media brand targeting 18-45 year-olds that explores contemporary culture (style, art, design, urban curation) using music as its unifying entry point. The brand builds on powerful existing communities (Purebreak and Purecharts), already accumulating 4 million monthly visits on its website and 8 million social media followers.

A FIRM COMMITMENT TO INCLUSION ALONGSIDE “DESCODEUSES”

Placing inclusion at the core of its “New Voices” initiative, Webedia-Elephant is dedicated to combating the underrepresentation of women in the digital space by tackling its primary obstacle: cyberbullying. In partnership with the non-profit organization Descodeuses, the group announces its involvement in the autumn 2026 launch of the very first training and awareness program focused on cyberbullying response, specifically designed for female content creators.

Combining technical cybersecurity expertise with creative support, this pioneering initiative will equip talent with a digital “first aid kit.” It aims to foster the right instincts to effectively defend against cyberattacks (hacking, deepfakes, doxxing), thereby safeguarding and liberating female expression and creativity.

FROM STAGE TO SCREEN: AUDIENCE SUCCESSES AND NEW LANDMARK PROJECTS

The morning event also served as an opportunity to celebrate recent triumphs and share exciting upcoming projects.

Launched on May 13 on Netflix, the landmark documentary Le Bus (produced by the Breath Film label) achieved the platform’s best documentary launch in Europe.

The group showcased the immense power of live events with the recent triumph of the Fléchettes Cup, spearheaded by LeBouseuh, streamed on Twitch, and broadcast live on RMC Découverte.

On the fiction front, actors Carla Poquin and Terrence Tell unveiled highly anticipated exclusive footage from Season 2 of Dear You (Prime Video).

The influencer landscape was highly represented, with Kameto, Twitch’s premier streamer, teasing an upcoming “League of Legends Showmatch,” while Just Riadh presented his new fashion-focused documentary series, Stylé.

On social media, the Popcorn media brand provided a compelling update on its new programming and content formats, perfectly embodying the “internet generation.”

Finally, the impact of brand storytelling was highlighted by the success of the first three seasons of the documentary series La Culture de l’Écart, produced for L’Oréal Luxe (Elephant@Work), with a fourth season scheduled to premiere in September.

In addition to this French edition, Webedia hosted two corresponding market events in May in Mexico and in June in Spain.

“This first edition of the ‘After Show’ marks the concrete acceleration of our new strategy to reach audiences in a ‘new world’. We are proud to be the only player in the market today capable of bringing together under one roof what no one else can assemble: creators, premium production, digital power, and cutting-edge technologies. Artificial Intelligence and our convergent production approach now give us the means to match our creative ambitions. The future of media? We’re already living it.” Christian Bombrun, CEO of the Webedia-Elephant group.
