GetHero Agency, which is part of Webedia Group in Poland, has announced the launch of the next edition of the survey under the title “Who are Polish TikTok users?”. In the upcoming weeks, along with experts from the SWPS University, the agency’s team will be asking the TikTok community to name the main reasons why they value the app.
The ongoing GetHero survey is a continuation of the annual cycle and is held for the fourth time. This time, however, the survey has been extended to include qualitative research methodology, which should provide more effective and in-depth analysis of the issues. The project will be once again carried out by Magdalena Wysocka – Senior Project Manager known from the previous editions of the report.
– TikTok is already a platform that shows spectacular growth and conquers the hearts of users of all ages. Experience shows that the platform has become something more than just a source of entertainment for them – so we want to find out what role it plays and what makes it different from other platforms – says Magdalena Wysocka. – At this stage I still can’t reveal too many details, but I’m convinced that the new report will provide practical conclusions for both TikTok users and brands – she adds.
GetHero is conducting the research in partnership with a team of female and male researchers from SWPS University, who are responsible for the interview process and the methodological aspects of the research, as well as the analysis and explanation of the results. The project is coordinated by Justyna Ziółkowska, PhD, Jakub Kuś, PhD and Patrycja Radek.
– TikTok is a living, functioning organism that is under constant development and evolution. At the same time it affects the daily life and well-being of millions of users. From the academic point of view it is therefore a very exciting object of research – that’s why we formed a special team to work on the GetHero report, which combines a wide range of expertise and know-how – e.g. in the fields of psychology, technology impact on human relations and development of innovative ecosystems – summarizes Jakub Kuś, PhD, Head of Research Team.
