Webedia Group, media-tech company and one of the world’s leading players in digital entertainment, has announced the creation of a new dedicated activity, with the ambition of becoming the leader in entertainment on the Web3 and making it accessible to as many as possible, from audiences to brands.
Exploring Web3 is an obvious choice for Webedia group, whose DNA has always been the creation of content and the animation of enthusiast’s communities around a strong technological base, in a multiplatform distribution logic.
By creating a new entity dedicated to Web3, which relies on a team of 25 employees with complementary profiles (Tech & Product, Creative & Marketing, Project…), the group’s main operational objectives are:
- The development of an internal culture of Web3 themes and issues,
- The launch and support of Webedia’s Web3 projects,
- The complete support of its clients.
Webedia3 is already announcing several projects and initiatives already in place through its media, its
content creators and its proprietary NFT module:
> Since June 2022, JV Tech* has been publishing a dedicated section to Web 3 topics with the aim of informing, raising awareness and promoting understanding. These articles have already had more than 500,000 sessions since their launch.
> JV has also just launched the « JV Fan Contest », a gamification operation based on community engagement, which provides a playful approach to the subject of NFT. This NFT rewards operation is carried out thanks to a proprietary technical base allowing to manage the NFT component.
> Inoxtag, the famous french Gaming Content Creator with 5.7 million subscribers on YouTube and 1.1 million on Twitch, is currently developing its own Minecraft server.
Thanks to its partner Coinhouse, Webedia is the first advertising network in France to accept payments in crypto-currency, allowing it to open up to Web3 players and support them in their marketing efforts.
Webedia3 will also be the partner of advertisers and media agencies for the implementation of Web3 projects, thanks to support on 3 levels:
1/ Consulting: a necessary step of acculturation and exchange to identify the needs of the clients and establish the most relevant recommendations, from concepts to activation with the right qualified partners.
2/ NFT: a NFT module that can be fully customised for 100% gamified and mass-market devices.
3/ Metavers: solutions on all platforms, from consulting to production (with the help of Virstate, a studio specialising in metavers), from media coverage to event management.
Thanks to this new entity with an global dimension, Webedia is demonstrating its desire to invest in the new creative and social worlds, and is thus affirming its position as the preferred partner of brands for their arrival on the Web3.
