Webedia Germany: The influencer TJ launches his premium show on YouTube

TJ’s show is based on formats such as TV Total, Late Night Berlin and ZDF Magazin Royal with interviews, challenges, weekly reviews and outside reporting. 

“TJ’s show is the first real late night show to be available on YouTube Germany. I am that we can finally start after months of planning! I don’t want to reveal too much, but we have big things planned for the format,” says Tim “TJ” Jacken about the show. 
In addition to TJ, well-known faces will be guests in each episode. Influencer Rezo, for example, will be in the kick-off show. Musicians and other public figures are also planned as guests.

Core of the format: an overview of the news from social media and the real world

The core of the show is host TJ’s always honest commentary of the latest news from the social media and the real world. The program is also filled with interviews, challenges such as Fear Pong and outside reporting fill the program.

Native integrated advertising as USP for customers

For customers, the show offers a special USP: native advertising integration. Depending on the product, TJ and his team script and produce entertaining advertising clips that are directly integrated directly into the show.
This new type of advertising has already convinced a number of well-known brands. Thus Krombacher is the official partner of the 1st season. Also food supplement manufacturer ESN as well as north VPN and Displate could be won as customers.

Linear TV is often not interesting for the show’s target group

The approximately 45-minute episodes run Thursdays at 8:15 p.m. each night. This puts TJ’s show in direct competition with linear TV offerings. Senior Artist Manager Philipp von Eschwege does not believe that TV could compete with the show’s reach.

“Our target group is completely on YouTube. Classic TV is often not interesting for them.”

TJ’s Show is first format of its kind in Germany

In fact, the format is the first of its kind in Germany. “There are many extremely successful TV formats that can be perfectly adapted for YouTube. Strangely enough, you can hardly find hardly anything on the platform. We recognized this potential. We were inspired by from formats such as TV Total or ZDF Magazin Royal,” explains Philipp von Eschwege.

Filming will take place in the specially equipped 120m² studio in Aachen. As soon as the situation allows it also audience to be received. The first episode is available since yesterday under the following link: TJ’s Show.
