The first episode of the video podcast will be broadcast on YouTube, Spotify and audio platforms on 16 November.
AdoroCinema, the most consulted Brazilian portal on cinema and series, has decided to take off its critic’s badge and put on its ordinary spectator’s pyjamas for ‘OdeioCinema’, the brand’s new video podcast. The first episode will be presented on 16 November, and the others will be broadcast every Thursday on Youtube, Spotify and other audio platforms.
In video format, the idea of the programme is to simplify conversations about films, series and the industry, bringing the discourse closer to the reality of those who are fans and haters. “We’re going to talk about the big releases, the old classics, but also the most important issues in the industry, bringing together people who want to give their point of view in an authentic and relaxed way. The name OdeioCinema is a joke about the fact that we love cinema so much that we end up hating it”, explains Caio Garritano, content analyst at AdoroCinema and one of the creators of the project.
The host will be AdoroCinema presenter Amanda Brandão, who will always have a fellow writer as co-host, as well as special guests. The important thing is to want to talk about cinema and to have genuine opinions. OdeioCinema” is recorded in the Webedia Brasil studios in São Paulo, which is also responsible for production. The programme is divided into three blocks, with fixed sections and spaces available for brand sponsorship.
“This is the project AdoroCinema needed and wanted! I’m so excited to be talking about film and series with the incredible people who will be there! Not to mention the exclusive interviews, which are sure to be a hit”, said Amanda Brandão.
